CSR Initiatives
FABS has adopted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy in line with the relevant provisions under Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 and Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. FABS is fully committed to its obligations under the Act and endeavors to identify suitable programs, projects and activities from those listed in the Act, during each year, to fulfil its CSR responsibilities.
Broadly, our focus areas for CSR initiatives are :
- Poverty Alleviation.
- Education for all.
We believe that our efforts and contributions towards addressing these two core issues will assist in improving our nation’s living and social standards.
The CSR initiatives already undertaken successfully are :
- Year 2015-Providing a fully fitted LCV truck to Akshayapatra Foundation in Bangalore to support their efforts in distributing milk to school children across the city.
- Year 2016-Providing a 17 KW solar power generating system to Christel House (School) India in Bangalore to help the school reduce their power bills on a sustained basis.
- Year 2017-Providing a fully fitted LCV truck to Akshayapatra Foundation in Bangalore to support their efforts in distributing food to school children across the city.
- Year 2018-Providing a fully fitted LCV truck to Akshayapatra Foundation in Bangalore to support their efforts in distributing food to school children across the city.
- Year 2019-Providing stainless steel bows which are insulated and can retain heat in food for almost 8 hours to serve hot food to poor children across schools in and around bangalore through Akshayapatra Foundation.
- Year 2020-Provided free mid day meal for poor children across schools in and around bangalore through Akshaya Patra Foundation.
- Year 2021-Providing a fully fitted LCV truck to Akshaya Patra Foundation in Bangalore to support their efforts in distributing food to school children across the city.
- Year 2023-Providing a fully fitted LCV truck to Akshaya Patra Foundation in Bangalore to support their efforts in distributing food to school children across the city.
